My wife has requested a whirlpool tub in our outdated powder room renovation. The room measures 58.25" x 120" (between finished walls). I'd like to avoid moving the placement of the toilet and vanity, which means the tub will span the narrow back wall. Entry is from the opposite (narrow) wall. I haven't come across any shorter-than-standard 60" whirlpool tubs. Do they exist? Alternatively, one wall is not load-bearing so I'm considering cutting into the wall studs at the tub to create and alcove and give enough space for the tub.
