Re-finish our kitchen table

We're getting our maple floors refinished and I'm going to sand down my kitchen table. I'm trying to figure out what color(s) people would recommend for the table.

The floor will be refinished to its original light maple. The kitchen is mostly white with a blue accent wall. The eating area with the table has a light pewter wall. Btw, the chairs are being tossed!

When the floors are refinished will they be the color the table is now? If yes then I'd stain the table a rich walnut color.

Yes the floors will be similar to the table.

Toss the chairs my way and paint the table a denim blue.

if the top is in good condition leave it and paint the legs the blue on the wall or a bit darker. Google chalk paint recipes and you could use the leftover wall play and about a cup of plaster of Paris to do it. might only take a sample jar to do the legs.

I actually like the table and think it will look clean and fresh when the floors are refinished. The fabric on the chairs looks outdated, but the shape of the chairs is nice. Could you reupholster them?
