Anyone actually HAVE a vessel sink(s)

I'm considering a somewhat flat, rectangle shaped vessel sink. I used one in the bathroom of a lighting showroom. Who knew? It was great! No messy splashing, like I expected. But I wasn't washing my face, brushing my teeth, etc. if you own one, what are your thoughts?

Yes, own and have installed many. We love ours and my clients love theirs. I will admit that I don't have experience with a "flat" vessel sink. All have had some type of "wall" either sloped or curved. Water hits these walls and glides into the drain. No splashing. They are easy to clean. Inside and out. Keep in mind, they are a bowl, sit above the surface of the counter and will break and chip if abused

Just from looking at that photo I know I'd have water all over the place after facing my face! I mean, I do now with a regular set up what are the odds it wouldn't happen with a vessel sink. If you think it;s a fun idea I'd put it in the guest powder room where it could look beautiful and be seldom used.
