That's an awkward spot to put a chair. I'd look for a console unit to put here. It shouldn't be too deep and bulky, but offer storage behind doors for bottles and glasses and a surface where you can put a small lamp and maybe a tray and some decanters. This might inspire you.

I don't find actual bars very attractive and would only use one in a basement family room myself. I would prefer a unit that would function as a bar (sort of) but not show that function on a daily basis. Hence the suggestion above. It's your personal choice however.

Just a larger artwork or more art would be enough imo
