I can't speak to the model pictured, but they work extremely well when an overhead hood is not desired or for cleaner design. It takes a pro installer to line all things up correctly. Do not cut corners on piping, layout and reading install specs.

There is not downdraft vent with this unit. You will have to purchase a range hood that is sold separately.
