My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Seal it with a high quality sealer...and do it once a year.

    Another option is quartz there are options that look very similar to Carrera Marble but, stain resistant and doesn't get dull. Our company carries Mont Surfaces and the color name is, 'Rhapsody' - it is beautiful!
