Personally, I think a glass mosaic tile competes for attention with the beautiful granite. I like the wall color a lot. Cant you just have a clear piece of glass cut to attach behind the faucet to protect the surface? You could then just use Windex as needed.

What about a 2x4 glass tile? It is shown here laid in a grid pattern but you could always install it in a true subway pattern.

Perhaps going with something like in one of our designs?

Close, but perhaps not close enough. The backsplash leans towards beige and the granite towards grey. You're holding it where you have the most light. Maybe look different under the lower cabinets and will definitely look different if you have under cabinet lighting. That will change all the colors.

IMO, it is way too busy for the space. I would put something very simple with this countertop.

Beautiful granite. I would do a simple pattern so you are not competing with the countertops.

The backplash is competing for attention with the granite Shop for something much simpler. Hope this helps!
