Sorry, but I'm a little confused on which sample is for the floor. The grayish "hardwood floor looking" tile in the 2nd, and the dark grey stone in the first option? If you have a lot of open floor space, I'd use really large tiles. Our designer suggested that for ours & we are so glad we did. Depends on the look your going for I guess. Thx

the dark gray stone looking tile is 12x24 and the wood looking gray planks are 6x36. I like them both and can not make up my mind:). this is a home stretch for me on this house flooring:)

Sorry I'm not more help, on the style or look of the two options, (I'm no designer!). Thought of this though .... you may want to consider heated floors if you live in a cool climate. It would be helpful to see photos of other projects finished with the two options. I hear your need for opinions NOW and I hope experts can chime in for you!

I prefer the second group because of the dark vanity. A dark floor butting up against a dark vanity might look overwhelming. The 2nd choice allows the eye a resting place between the dark of the vanity and the bright of the tub (and chrome.)

we are going to have underfloor heating- so that is not problem as we live in a cool climate:(. I have seen a bathroom shower finished with the stone looking tile (the dark grey one), see attached photo and I think taht I am leaning more towards it as well, however the shower in teh photo below has teh shiny mosaic tile that adds interest. By the way in my case- teh tiel is only going on the floor.

After reading Sandyand, etc. comment, I agree with her. Like light floor with the darker vanity, and the white free standing tub ... Wow, nice. The photo of the finished bath with the darker stone helped to see as well. All that said, though, go with your gut. Maybe make a decision and see how you feel, it could reveal your true preference if you have one. I empathize with you remembering our decision process, but you have chosen beautiful options, it will look amazing whatever you choose.
