Adjustable/ motion bed - feedback .

while shopping for pillow top bed, salesman showed adjustable bed with massaging/ motion. My husband is fascinated with it but it was not in our original agenda. Experience was good but is it really worth that money? Does any one have any feedback in this. Really need to decide in a day or two. Would appreciate your thoughts.

We have an adjustable Tempurpedic without split mattress. I use the massage feature every night.

i believe you need to go on internet there are many reviews regarding these beds.

Well, living proof right here! We bought an adjustable "perfect comfort" or "sleep in comfort" airbed about 3 months ago. Great decision! Ours is split from the head of bed to about halfway, but has full individual controls for each side...feet move independently as well as the heads. Also adjustable firmness from the air baffles.
The only "cons" are the special sheets you have to purchase to fit the "puka" at the head. Making the bed is a snap...just raise a side, pop the sheet over, tuck the middle down into the puka, then lower that side. Repeat on other side.
We are sleeping SO SO much better than before. We each start out in the half raised position (on our backs)....sometimes hubby remains like that the whole night...I usually lower the feet part to flat and the head to just slightly raised, and turn on one side. But the "reclining" position is so good for your lower back...takes all the strain off it.
Neither of us likes the massage feature...its very annoying, bumpy like those old motel "magic fingers" ...remember those?
But the bed comes with the massage...just don't use it.
We bought the bed for full price and got $1,000 of in-store "freebies" which paid for mattress pad, two sets of sheets, and two special extra-cool pillows in king size.
Happy with our decision!

We bought the adjustable frame with our tempurped!c bed and we love it. Aside from the everyday comfort described by OldGrayMare above, it is also nice to be able to sleep with your head raised when you have a head cold or congestion. The massage "feature" is horrible and we don't use it either.

My comment on adjustable bed is if both sides adjust as one unit and both sleepers are not same body size it is uncomfortable. The bending points may not hit at the same body area making it difficult to sleep.
