I'm looking for a solution to remotely open my detached garage from inside my kitchen. We're remodeling the kitchen right now and I'd prefer not to have the garage remote cluttering my beautiful new kitchen counter. Adding a low voltage, bell wire is not an option. Since the garage door opening is only a few months old I know I can get an app on my smartphone, but my hands are usually full of items when I'm heading out the door. Digging out my phone, using my fingerprint to unlock it, locating the app and activating the opener function is a bit cumbersome. The remote keyless entry systems from Chamberlain and others are intended for exterior usage with the flip covers to protect them from the elements. Does anyone else have a suggestion? I'd prefer to have a stationary button attached to the wall. Thanks for your help.
