My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Susan - Thanks for the question. Since this was a renovation, we were trying to match the material in the rest of the house (2 1/4" Oak) and then we refinished the entire house so the floors would be consistent throughout. I hope this answers your questions.

    Is it White or Red Oak. Its very pretty!

    I think these were quarter sawn red oak floors. We used an oil finish.
