A few books , some piled, some standing, a vase or two ( short and chunky), a wind up clock or large 'letter' ( personalized - name) , a standing photo etc etc. See this page - it has thousands of examples.

To the left of the TV I would add a tall potted plant or a tall modern lamp.

I assume there is a reason that you don't have the tv centred on that wall, with the shelving underneath it centred. As is, I would move the shelving to the right, so it is lined up with the tv on left side - then decorate. You will then have a large space on the right to fill.
