You need to move your whole seating group down and center the tv on the wall. Your rug should not go in front of the cased opening by fireplace.

@nancy Ingram - I can't move it unfortunately because across from the empty wall are sliding glass doors that lead to the deck.

IN that case, if would get another chest like the one your have. Then get something like a carved wood panels, or fabric stretched over a canvas frame, or frame piece of fabric that has a graphic pattern. Hang above each chest. Tv. In front on left and then some large chotchee in front to balance out tv like large decorative plate on right.
