Entry rug! possibly round but id have to see the whole foyer.

I would remove the plant. And the maybe add a rug, possibly something on the wall, but as the previous commenter said; difficult to say without seeing the entire space.

I just checked your other posts about your entry hall. Could you post a photo taken from your front door, so we can see the entire area? I'm curious to see the wall opposite the little bench? I think you're tackling this as lots of different areas, while it is in fact one space.

Not sure what other room look like. Move table to other side add lamp and pictures or wall décor, rug. You can bring in a bit of your accent color if you want with lamp or rug.

susan's on the right track -- I wanted to say you need some art (preferably with color, but pattern is a runner-up) over that chair...

I agree that if youre looking to decorate the whole entry instead of this sitting area you should post a wider shot.

Theres nothing particularly visually stimulating right now. Everything is nice but a bit dull to look at. Adding more objects of similar nature wont help. You could add 1 eye popping pillow, an interesting rug, a bigger, textured planter for example.

I would recommend adding a small 3x5 rug in front of the bench

I love what you did to this space. It is a difficult area to fill. It seems to be entrance of the house. What about a mirror either over the banquet or the console table? I would also consider a complimenting cow hide rug. This would warm up the space in front of the banquet. Here are a few ideas.

The settee is very nice, however, I think a table/credenza/chest and lamp(s) with something on the wall, would have been a better choice for this area.

Add a rug, as mentioned above. Something colorful. Move your little table to the left side and put a lovely lamp on it.

I would move the rug from in front of door and put it in middle of floor in front of settee. Is it big enough? Would look so much better.

Nice entryway. Add a colorful rug. Plant is too short. Everything is the same height.

I agree with shirlpp about adding a table and lamp to the area. The settee in the foyer makes it look like a waiting room.

A comment about your dining room. I would swoop everything off the buffet cabinet and add a grandiose piece of art on that wall;)

Maybe consider removing the entry rug, laying a rug in front of the settee that compliments the rug in your dining room, and replacing the settee with a credenza of some sort. That way, you could add a lamp for some soft light and keep a plant in that space also. I also agree with Margo and Susan2494 about a piece of art and some soft lighting at the buffet in your dining room. Have fun!

Thank you all for your comments!! I have made some changes. Attached are the pictures

The glam area by the front door is very nice. For the settee, it looks like you just switched the table and faux plant around and added something blue.

The table at bottom of staircase has too much stuff. Remove the plants and one of the stools. The settee has too many pillows. Take off one white and 1 blue. Keep the other 2 on same side. Put something on the table.

the foyer looks great!!! However I do agree with susan that there is too much stuff on the table.

It's a lovely space, but lacking warmth and personalization. The walls are screaming for some art work or texture. The plant is fine, but too small in scale. A mirror in an entry is always a good idea, as well.
