    I have two of these fireplaces and would like to replace them. However I think the one in this photo really accentuates the room and blends so nicely with the earthly, natural flavors of the room.

    i love love love the rock fireplace.. do you know what kind of stone it is.. I hope you don't replace it (especially with stacked stone..UGH!) this stone gives it its cool mid century modern look.. so bold and cool....

    Don't ever paint it! We bought a house with this stone in entry and fireplace painted white white. There is no way to walk that back. My sister says it looks like the penguin enclosure at sea world. Sadly, it does.
