Finished mine today. Will mail tomorrow. Was afraid of all the hst's but really liked making this block! I think I've conquered my fear of hst's! Sending 3, picture only of 2.

I have envelopes from Christine-did I say that already?- and from Beth in Florida as well as Carol in NV. I know I have Nannykins still coming and others. This will make a nice quilt.

Can I make one comment? If you send in blocks, you can always use the universal currency of quilters - a fat quarter. I prefer batiks but don't think you have to run out for change just to mail blocks. Fat quarters work the same even if something from your stash.

Oh wait! That makes it sound like I'm changing Sue's rules. I didn't mean that. I just don't want any of you to hesitate because you have no change at that moment when you need to mail them fast. I am flexible!

Such a nice surprise to get 26 lovely blocks in my mail this
morning. Thank you so much. Looking at them certainly provides a tutorial on what I need to
do better on mine. I'm not sure when I’ll finish it since I have 3 projects
ahead and suspect quilting will suspend in April when golf and gardening season
starts. I'm going to get some more fabric and make 4 more to do a 30-square quilt. I have a mock-up of my first ideas on what I'll do, but am having trouble posting it. Any hints? The photo icon below seems to be non-operational for me.

Hopefully I figured out how to post a photo. Here is the design of the quilt I plan to make with all your lovely blocks. Wish me luck. The back will be solid blue with possibly a few more 12" card trick blocks sprinkled on.

Christine, that's going to be a wonderful quilt. One of my favorites is a quilt that I made with my lotto winnings of Anvil Blocks. It's beautiful, and it reminds me of all my on-line friends.

It's done. Here is the picture of the completed card trick quilt. Thank you all. My LAQ said the top went on really flat. I worked hard to use the sashing as a means to even out the inconsistencies between the quilt blocks. The size came out just a little too narrow for our deep queen mattress. (83x96) It will work perfectly for a standard queen or a full size bed. I haven't decided yet what to do with it. Gift it or keep. I do have a lake house with two beds that it would fit on. We'll see. The picture doesn't do it justice. I had enough of the border fabrics left over that I am making two baby size disappearing 9-patch quilts to use it up.

It just struck me as I looked at the photo that the various colors form hearts - duh! How neat and I wouldn't have noticed it until it was all put together. The reddish colored ones caught my eye. So pretty!
