I am not sure if it's led.I typically like incandescent bulbs but most light fixtures can handle led's now for a bright white light.

I can't tell from the picture, its too far away. However, there are LED replacement lamps for most common bulbs. The new warm white 2700k-3000k color temperature lamps are almost impossible to tell from incandescent. Plus you will easily save 80% on power consumption not to mention replacement costs.
