here are few photos I found. motorized shades, and curtains

I love the softness of the sheer draperies in "a country house".............I helps to keep the eye focused on the interior of the room, but still allows for the beautiful view

Ripplefold curtains( sheers ) will look nice there:)))

Thank you everyone for your fast responses. I think our challenge is how to design the coverings where they can stack up and not take up too much room for the view too.

That's the beauty about ripplefold :if you'll make 60% fullness - it will look just perfect( and use very thin sheer) :)))

Ripplefold sheers will not be able to be stacked due to the uneven heights!!!
. If you put ripplefold they will be stationary in a closed position.

You need to consider sheers shades from Hunter Douglas. They can do anything in shaped windows....silhouettes, duets, in some nice sheer finishes...or you might consider sheer fabric roman shades.

@blindsdirectcanada- I'm impressed with the range of your ideas. How do you draw curtains open across a diagonal top mount?

Thank you for the photos @blindsdirectcanada. I will definitely take a look.
