What sort of budget (per chair) do you have in mind? There are probably several different options, and knowing a general budget range will help with sourcing better choices for you.

Additionally, is that a brass finish that's on the pedestals of your table? What is the actual color and material of the table top? (hard to tell accurate colors/finishes on my screen).

Options from Wayfair I thiink the seat should be upholstered, but the wood frame exposed.

Ok, so just read through your previous thread (via the link that tedbixby posted, thanks Ted! :-)) ..... And you mentioned in there that you don't like a lot of gold (ie brass?).....

So, here's a few more ideas/options that don't have any brass/gold metal accents. These all are from Mitchell Gold. Tons of fabric and leather options are available as well as a good selection of wood finishes.

These also have matching side chairs available.

And few more from zincdoor.....assuming the shades/colors of the finishes/fabric will work ok with your table top and pedestal colors in person (?)

Tedbixy, thank you for your great ideas. love that deep pink color but don't think my husband will go for it :( You are right about the dinning room having too many things. I definitely am steering away from traditional. I like some of avery's choices :) Especially the light blue color & style.

Thank you all for your great suggestions. They have been very helpful. Trying to find something cool, nice & comfortable is very difficult !! Just heard about this store by fashion center in melrose, HD Buttercup, where there are a lot of cool furniture. Will be checking it out this wknd. Wish me luck :)

oh the pedalstals are wood and sort of matt gold/brass like. My husband doesn't want meal legs on the chairs :(

we are willing to spend as much as $500 per chair which can easily be done but not for great quality :(

Ashley, love the chairs with the lower backs too....especially if you're going for a modern look. All the chairs you posted above are fab. I know it'll be a hard choice. But the looking part can be fun!

Let us know how you're trip to HD Buttercup goes......have heard great things about that store too. Only wish they had one locally....would love to check it out myself.

It has been a long and frustrating search but with your and everybody's else help here I'm starting to have some hope:) Tedbixy, I did what you suggested and I like the lower back chairs do look good , it exposes the beautiful table top. So I guess it is narrow down to low back chairs :) One big accomplishment !! :) Thank you all so very much. I will definitely post photos once i get the chairs.
