I love my Bosch front loading washer and dryer have had them for 8 yrs I do at least 1-2 loads a day and have never had a service call. I love the xtra sanitary cycle and the extra rinse choice

I am in a similar boat. I just purchased a Samsung front loader and took delivery a few days ago. Even though it was advertised as super-quiet, I think my previous LG was quieter. I have been pretty pleased with the cleaning on it though. I also like the various cycles and more importantly that you can customize the pre-set cycles. With my previous LG, if you chose a pre-set cycle (for example, baby wear), you couldn't then say "OK, I want Baby Wear but with cold water." You had to do a completely custom cycle if you changed anything.

Another thing I've noticed with this one-- and I am planning to ask a repair person-- is the sound of water going into and out of the machine is much louder than my LG. I don't know if that's just the result of new hoses or something with the Samsung itself. If I had the washer near a bedroom, this would really annoy me.

Speed queen. No regrets . Faster wash. Cleaner clothes and yes you get water ! Not an HE. Had several HE. And never again if I can help it ! I like knowing I actually have water in my machine. Fancy machines just do not impress me any more appearance wise. I have learned by costly mistakes. Read the reviews on speed queen. I wish I would of earlier on

Second vote for Speed Queen non-high HE. No electronics, simple dials and superior performance. Probably cheaper and as a bonus... made in the USA.
