IMO edison bulbs are awful light but you should be able to get warm white LEDs for under cabinet lighting .

The incandescent bulbs are not the recommended and will all be discontinued sometime but you can find a solid LED in the 2700K (warm white) and do either LED tape (also in 2700K) with a high-output option that you can dim. If you are really not going to use the under cabinet lights for task work and just ambiance then try using a low-output source. ^_^ I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions!

IKEA has under cabinet lighting which incudes a color wheel so you can actually change the color of the light, I think it's $40 or so.

And, I love those Edison bulbs!
