The ceilings in the kitchen are 9'. The 2 industrial looking pendants are 12" high by 13" wide. They are solid metal & you cannot see through them. How high should the bottom of the fixture be off the top of the island?? I only have a choice of 30 or 36" ... which the 3 extending rods allow for installation.
The island is 8-1/2' long x 36" high. I am only 5'3" and think it should be 30" from the countertop but that may interfere with the sight line of a taller person. Please advise.
