Decorating advice - kitchen

I'm in the midst of my remodel... Kraftmaid Hamilton Cabinets in Dove White... White Oak floors... Stainless appliances... Trying to figure countertops and backsplash. My current thought is an LG Mulholland quartz countertop, and with beveled cararra marble backsplash.

I was originally going with vinyl flooring, and could not find much f anything that worked with the greys. I did find a high-end vinyl tile that worked, but then when the cabinets came in, I thought the Mulholland tile was too washed out, so I thought of going with a darker granite. But now, with the natural wood floor, I am thinking my original design might work. - yes, I overthink everything. It is a small room with not much light, so i would like to keep stuff on the light side.

Any opinions?

I am little concerned with the stain-resistance of the marble wall tiles, so i was thinking of using a stainless above the stove.
