I would buy bedding first and then come back with a pic of it I always use the bedding to design color scheme for bedrooms

Paper the entire space. All the walls. The window is off center.....it's small. Reduce as much clutter as possible and smooth it out. Perhaps choose a headboard only type bed, or one upholstered to tone to your paper......the bed pictured seems far too dark and heavy for the scale of the room.
