Based just on the drywall and the wood tone of the island?!?

Keep in mind you may always change colors. Keep it sunny and not too serious, especially with your dark island, very serious looking piece. Consider painting the trim black or staining it dark with light colors on the walls. Also, perhaps lower wall (up to top of door frame) a shade lighter or darker than upper wall. We have white cabinetry, but I chose yellow upper and olive lower around stove it flows from the breakfast room
