I see 6 different colors of wood floor in the picture. 2 light blond, 1 brown, 3 grayish. I think you are asking which of the 3 gray tones but I am not sure. Do you have any pictures of the space where you would like to use this wood floor? :D

Sorry, i should have specified more. The first photo with the 3 different woods (from L-R) 1st plank and 3rd plank is the same colour but on different woods. So in photo 1, i'm debating between the 1st and second plank.

In photo two, I would just concentrate on the two bigger planks. They are the same colour, again, just on different types of wood to get a smooth non-character version and one with character and a darker brown tone. :)

This is for a new development so I'll be removing the carpet and putting in hardwood. It would be the same colour hardwood for the main floor and upstairs. My walls will likely be a shade of grey and my furniture will be variations of white and black.

Dytecture, I don't have a colour swatch but the photo you provided above looks to be about the colour that i'd be interested in.

Dytecture that picture is perfect! From dSPACE Studio www.dspacestudio.com. The wood is a custom stain blend that is 50% ebony with 50% chocolate applied onto a rift and quarter sawn white oak floor. Beautiful!

eunypoo not sure about the wood choices sorry my monitor is showing gray on all 3 without much brown or differences. I would pick the one with more wood grain however.

The middle sample in the first photo seems to have the most brown tones, good thing is there are lots more choices in terms of picking a paint color compared with flooring.

I just finished a remodel and used this color scheme in picture above. We love it. It is soothing and relaxing. I used Minwax Jaccobean on the floors. They are gorgeous however they do show dust. The darker gray i used in the master and office was Sherwin Williams Amazing Gray, and the lighter gray we used in the living area and kitchen is Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter. It is a wonderful light nuetral that looks beautiful with all colors I use. Good Luck!

Dark colors are beauitufl as long as you don't have a dog or cat; otherwise you'll be a slave to vacuuming.
