I would probably go with a rich dark wood blinds or a woven wood product. This would work well with the color scheme you have. Also they are more durable which make them idea for an area where there is a chance of getting water on them.

I've stared at your photo for a while. I think you've done a great job with your kitchen and I agree -- the current window treatment has got to go; your renovation has elevated the appearance of your kitchen and no offense, but those generic blinds just serve to knock it back down a few notches. I would hesitate to use brown again only because it's a small area but it gets a lot of attention, being right over the sink and above that nice tile, and the brown would look like another cabinet box there in your window and draw attention to the cabinets, which are nice, but I'm guessing are not the focal point you'd like to highlight. Like linlac suggested, I would look for a nice pattern that uses some of the brown from the cabinets but also picks up some of those nice hues in the tile. Perhaps a bright bold solid, or a colorful pattern but not too busy that it competes with the swirls of the counter. And I would use a Roman shade instead of blinds, this way you could show nice burst of color/pattern at any length, even while drawn all the way up. Good luck! Please show us what you decide!
