Questions about LATICRETE Shower Pan install

Good evening! i have just finished Demo'g my bathroom. I pulled the old shower pan up this evening to find the concrete slab/foundation. I have a laticrete pre-fab/sloped shower pan and wondered if I could thin set it and the curb straight to the foundation? It already has a drain built in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
