The colors compliment each other really well. The cherry cabinets are going to really "pop" without being over dramatic in this color palette. Having an accent color for the island will also provide a beautiful focal point. If you decide to go with two different countertop colors, it is a good idea to choose a "neutral" color(like the one you have)with less movement so they are not competing. Have fun with your project!

I'm doing the same thing on perimeter in my natural cherry cabinet kitchen. Only still searching for granite or quartz for large center island. Love you're selection. What is it called?

lovely...BUT, the perimeter choice on my screen looks a tad coral, whereas the island granite has more yellow-green playing . What can happen on a large expanse is the coral/peachy of the perimeter really shows that way.....just lay them out horizontal and in different light...it might be the angle, the camera or the computer screen, and really the perimeter might actually be a truer off-white...I don't think you want peach toned counters though.

I looked at Caesarstone's Creamy Marfil, too. I'm trying to remember if it leans warm or cool but I can't. If it's not quite the right undertone with that stunning granite, you could also consider Caesarstone's Buttermilk. A neighbor installed this quartz in her kitchen with cherry-stained alder cabs. It's really lovely.

I found pics of a kitchen with CS Buttermilk, a green granite island and stained cabs, similar to what you're considering. (IMO, the wall color isn't the best choice, but that's IMO and perhaps it looks better IRL than it does from a photo on a computer monitor.)

Thanks for the input regarding the Marfil vs the Buttermilk. I just happen to have a sample of that too. Will look at both in different lighting. The granite is called Bacurua.

That granite is gorgeous. Honestly, I'd take that puppy and use it as perimeter and island.

I love the granite, and love it with your cabinets. The Caesarstone, to me, is OK, but not fabulous - if you want to go with a plain quartz on the perimeter, I'd do one that isn't imitating natural stone, since you've got such a wonderful natural stone for the island.
