What kind of wood siding is that and where did you source it from?

    your question on our photo. The wood siding shown here on the Tarrytown Modern
    home is stained pine plank siding (1x6), sourced from BMC lumbar yard (http://www.buildwithbmc.com/).
    However, you can get pine siding at any lumber yard that is most convenient to
    you.

    One more question...how did you do the stain on the foundation? What was the process and color used?

    The foundation isn’t stained,
    what you’re seeing is custom metal work formed into a landscaping feature that
    is similar to a planter box, and the coloring you are seeing is the natural
    metal patina with a rust colored acid wash.

    Below is a better picture of how the planter boxes look next to the foundation of the house.
