Beautiful Mike! Truly magic. As long as I don't have to drive! lol We brought in a bunch of tenders and right now we are sharing the kitchen with a 6ft Pseudopanax
ferox. Have to watch football on the telly through the branches!

I've never grown Pseudopanax ferox. I had to look it up. Looks like an interesting plant.

I used to live in Shoreline when I was a kid back in the 40s and 50s. We called it Richmond Beach then. The worst winter I remember was in 1949-50 and the Fall of 1955. We lived a couple of blocks from the beach by the old Richmond Beach grade school.

Mike, I remember that winter too - trying to trudge through the snow walking up the hill to Montlake Grade school.

The Pseudopanax is a real showstopper. Your own Jurassic visitor! Just saw it in the latest Far Reaches Catalog. Not sure how tender it is so ours is in a pot so it can be moved in for freezes. Dunn Garden also has their trees in pots as does the Miller Garden.
