Can you tell me what type of wood is used in the paneling? It looks like Maple, but would love confirmation. Thanks in advance - great work!

Glad you like it. The ceiling & panels above the fireplace are maple veneer. The spaced board siding is cedar.

Did you use a stain on the cedar siding? If so what brand and what stain?

I don't have the records readily available, but the siding finish was most likely Daly's semitransparent stain ( https://www.dalyswoodfinishes.com/PDF/specs/S-SemiTrans.pdf ) color 70034 or 70716. That said, don't go by the color in the photo, make sure you get a sample to look at.

Is the cedar tongue and groove or something else? Seems like there is more of a gap than standard tongue and groove. Very nice work.

It's spaced board with 3/8"+/- gaps over sleepers.
