We recently gutted and opened up on an old sidesplit. Looking for suggestions for the mirrored wall behind our table. We have ordered new taupe chairs.

There isn't room for a buffet or anything behind the table, but perhaps we could place something where that outdated vase sits. Not sure what as we have the built in fireplace right next to it.

The mirror is centre with the light and table. The kitchen is a darker version of the wall colour with a grey island. The couch and drapes are navy with muted chartreuse accents.

Questions...

Would you paint the wall or add wallpaper as an accent? This is really the only big wall in the room.

Any suggestions on what we can do the around the mirror on the wall? Photos? Art?

What might you put in the additional space between the table and the built ins?
