We just installed an all Miele kitchen, CSO, CO, induction cooktop, hood, dishwasher and fridge. The only other fridge I considered was the SZ. I liked the lighting and hinges better in the Miele and had some concerns about the added complexity of the French door. The fact that it was less expensive made it an easy decision.

I looked at Consumer Reports reviews of pro-style fridges and bought the Thermador French door with custom cabinet panels added. It has two compressors on the bottom, so it's a tall fridge and if a person is short, it may not be the best choice. I really like it, but since my kitchen is still under construction, I've only used it over the holidays while the workmen were away.

The left door or right door can be opened without opening the other. That was huge for me. It has a flexible flange that operates between the two that provides a good seal. The freezer drawer, being above the compressors, is actually better due to the added height. I had a Kenmore French door in my previous home and the freezer was low.

The thermador and Bosch units are mechanically the same as the Miele units. I would recommend of them first and foremost. The lighting, shelving and controller are about the only difference.

If you are paneling, then you wouldn't be able to tell anyway!
