This particular home was built in South Florida and cost about $350 a square foot to build. However, building costs are different throughout the US. I recommend speaking to a local builder for more accurate building costs in your area.

Nick what are some of the changes you made? I would really like to build this Dream Home for under 650k, even doing the flooring my self....mainly polished marble interior, honed outside, and some hardwood....clearly they have the most expensive material chosen for almost everything in every room.... I would of course make some cheaper choices in materials, maybe even forgoing the elegant pool all together.

We opted out of the front porch, 2nd story sitting area with the fire place, and master bath door out to a claws in garden. The 2nd story is beautiful but was advised against it due to the flat roof and potential leaking problems. We added on a mother in law suite behind the garage. Our pool will be a little bigger since we have more water frontage. The home is costing 575,000 and the pool approx. 75,000. We will send pics soon. This home is selling for 1.3mil I believe but has some very expensive tile, marble and bathrooms. We are downgrading a few things.

We also made the 2 second story a little different. Made the play room bigger, added a bigger window upstairs and made the bathroom a jack and Jill so the 2 rooms could share instead of having separate bathrooms.

Construction on this home beginning in Ohio. Wood frame instead of block. Minor changes have been made to keep it more friendly to the colder temps here.

Did you do the doors that open up like indoor outdoor living or did you do something diffident . The up stairs patio is tiled are you doing tile iwas wondering of snow and rain if the pitch for run off ? I keep looking at this plan love it are you doing a pool ?

Erika brown I reduced the door sizes due to the climate here. I do have a large 12'x10' door off the main room. The bedroom was switched to a 3' door and window. The porches will remain as in the original plan. However, there will be pitched decking over membrane. Tile wouldn't hold up in this extreme cold.

Sorry!! Just saw this conversation! I will send pics tomorrow. We love our home! We opted out of the upstairs patio due to the possibility of leaking since it would be flat. Added 2 doors to the balcony.

Our upstairs patio is not tiled, we used that recycled plastic.

How did the bathroom turn out nick?

We completely changed the master bath. The original looked great but did not seem functional for us and also I did not need a private garden entrance from my bathroom. I have a pool bath that we changed around a little and changed the upstairs to 2 bedrooms and a big loft area. The upstairs bathroom is a jack and Jill. Real time photos so it's not perfectly neat :)

Nick, contacted Wholesale lighting, but they needed some additional info I did not have. Any recollection of manufacturer or model name/number would help.
