I love that you're so adventurous! That pop of color would be interesting but I'm concerned that it won't fit with your style. I don't have much info on the room past a couple of colors but I am concerned about putting the rubbed bronze with the red. I don't think you'll be happy with that combination.

since we are building everything is up in the air still. Although we have picked out a lot of stuff, theres so much more to do. Our builder is great and uses good quality stuff and is building his own house using mostly his standard offerings so I feel pretty confident in the quality of everything going in. We invited ourselves over and nosily went through his whole house :) We LOVE our builder.

The same faucet we want in the "stainless" has a yellow cast to it which i hate and of course none of the ss/black appliances have that. That's why we went with the bronze since it matches the cabinets anyway.

Our kitchen accents are going to be red, kitchenaid, etc so I thought a bright red sink might be awesome instead of the standard stainless. If I could get a bright red apron sink I'd do it in a heartbeat LOL

But I'm not a visual person and can't picture how it'll look so I'm relying on ya'll :) I did a preschool edition of the kitchen layout in photoshop to get the gist of it. Just imagine the walls a neutral color - we don't have that nailed down. Oh, and the squiggles are granite, but i didn't do the main countertop yet. This is trust putting this up and very humbling :)

If you are dead set on a red farmhouse sink they are available. Koehler has one, as well as Luberon (in Fireclay not acrylic!). Me, I'd go for a Big Chill red fridge for true impact. However with your color selection and veined counters it sounds like a poor choice all round. Neutral, solid colors are the way to go with your sink. Best of luck.
