This was a very involved project. The landscape side of it was app. $20k. However we included our architect and engineer. The foundation under the newly formed door way needed to be excavated and made deeper since now the bottom of the basement floor would be exposed to the frost. Drainage also had to be addressed since we were creating a large hole next to the foundation. I would say that total cost would be $35-50k
