They look great Barb!! I envy folks with big sunny windows. Our two large windows are on the north side of the house. I have an office window with some morning sun and a good but small kitchen window on the south side.

I was surprised to see buds on my Thanksgiving cactus already. Some new pups coming up in some of the sans. They are definitely ready for Spring to be here.

She's a girl, Penny is her name and she is 1 year old. She is a little rascal. She does sleep in bed with us, but on top of the covers. She got to play in her first snow yesterday.

Your collection is really beautiful on the plants stands...healthy plants! Do you keep them there all year or rotate them around the house in "decorative" positions? That's what I'm aiming to do - have enough plants to rotate them from bright, warm areas to the dimmer spots as "living sculpture" but not long enough to set them back. My house is not all that light & bright but I want the plants (nor do I want additional electric charges for electric lights for them).

I think you have a really good idea to switch out your plants and give them all a turn in the best light. I have done that many times over the years. We have a young dog now and I have to be careful to keep plants out of her reach, so I'm not using most of those decorative locations.

Akrrm and I both have a plant stand, it's a good way to take advantage of all the light. But thanks from both of us.

In the summer I take most of my plants outside and put them in the shade, maybe some morning sun. It really rejuvinates them and helps them stay alive throughout the winter.

Thank you kindly - I just got them so all the credit goes to the professional growers! I like the idea of morning sun (I am in SoCal with very intense summer rays) and I think I'll find a bench of sorts to set them on the north/east side of the house outdoors.

I also wanted to say thank you for the doggie pics - both of them are so cute & loveable. Plants & dogs and I am in paradise.

They're so cozy - I just love having the plants around me inside - I love my garden outside and can't believe it took me this long to garden indoors. Don't you enjoy sitting with your plant buddies with a steaming cup of coffee or tea or glass of wine?

Yes, I am just like you! I like to look at them every day, checking for new growth. I wish I could do more gardening outside, but there is quite a deer population, so it is frustrating to have your plants eaten. You have such a wonderful climate out in California, gardening must be a dream.

Very nice plants everybody. I love all the ideas of elevating plants. Being in a single wide mobile home gets kind of crowded. I'm going to have to find some creative ways to go vertical before I have so many plants I'm making paths to various rooms. It will be a lot easier when I can put my birds back outside. I'll have a whole wall cleared for shelving.
