Sorry to rain on the parade but not the marble with the granite I think they fight each other for the spotlight and i really dislike how light bounces off beveled subway tile. I would just do a simle white glass subway tile maybe in a 2 x8 size or even large format ones .

Such dark granite!!!! Make sure you install under cabinet LED lighting. & the gray may become depressing. Go with the flat subways in off-white, please.

Do you like gray? Everything is eventually out, so do what you like :).

The granite is busy - lots of movement - which means backsplash needs to be simple: no texture, little variation in color or pattern. Since the granite is dark, a lighter color will offer contrast and keep the undercabinet space from being too dark.

What about pale gray ceramic tile? Soft white would work too. I don't like rain glass - too much pattern. Glass subway tile might look great - in white, perhaps.

Do you have a wall color yet? Pale blue might look pretty depending on your gray. Good luck - show us more as you go along!

I am married to someone who has 30 years of tile installation and the one thing you don't want to do is have patterns of the backsplash competing with the patterns of the counter. It will be way to busy. Now you can go with a white, light gray and a little black mosaic type tile.

I have heard the beveled arabesque is a bear to install due to the bevel aspect & grouting. If you end up using it, make sure you have someone very capable and confident they can do a beautiful job with this tile install. Not for first-timers.

I think white tile paired with soft greenish blue sounds beautiful!

Keep it simple, timeless..I agree the granite is busy, lovely but has lots of movement so subway tile as to not take away from the granite.

Consider white subway tile with a matte finish, grey grout.
