I know i suggest Besta from Ikea a lot but really it is awesome for any space but apts. and small condos always need storage and it is the answer to fill that empty wall where the T.V. is as for window why not a nice roman shade that you can close for privacy but mount it high enough to leave wind 95% open when you want the light.I would do a nice nubbly fabric in one of the colors from the rug for the shade and here is an idea for the T.V. wall it does not have to be white they have different colors, I would not go dark it would also solve the empty corner problem

Try white bright drapes with grommet tops or clip tops. Surprisingly they will bring in light.

@sandradclark while I love that idea the window sill juts out too far that it warps the looks. We also can't have it fall outside the window sill as we must do Inside mounting. I appreciate the idea though!

Patricia colwell consulting I love the roman shade idea and I actually just found one that's very inexpensive on JcPenny. We are in a rental unit so I didn't want anything permanent or custom.

As for the IKEA Betsa we already have a tv stand we just purchased so I don't think we will be able to purchase that now but I will keep that idea in mind for future renovations! Thank you!

They are quite a lovely design element. Adding softness to your space. From the photo you shared, it doesn't appear you need any more privacy, is that correct?

For the corner and TV, I would utilize a custom entertainment center design as to not create more wasted space.

Or you can create an entertainment center to fill the entire wall, complete with additional storage and display space.
