This material is extremely hard to care for. I would ask the seller what type of grain the leather is. For the price, I am guess it is a low grade leather. These rugs look stunning! For about a year. They must be oiled, cannot be vacuumed, and you cannot wear shoes on them. If the rug was a dark brown color I would say go for it because the natural patina will look wonderful but white leather will soon look dirty and worn. If you want the high contrast look, this is a hand knotted wool option. It will last forever and it is cruelty free.
