What should I do with these Arts & Crafts doors ?

Hi All,

For over quarter of a century, our family owned a pub in beautiful Shropshire countryside. We would sometimes have large fires, on which we'd burn all our unwanted stuff - hedge clippings etc. Sometimes, we'd find that other people had deposited their rubbish for burning - we used to find all manner of things.

On one occasion, I found a pair of doors - which look to my non-expert eye as being from the Arts & Crafts / Art Nouveau period. Many years on we no longer have the pub, but I still have the doors.

Each door is inlaid with metals - as a guess, I think that these might be copper, bronze & pewter. The doors are about 5ft high and are quite heavy - I think that they are oak.

I was wondering if anyone might be able to tell me something about them. Perhaps more importantly. what should I do with them ? The following suggestions have been offered - have them mounted as a feature, turn them into coffee tables . . . given my long-time previous life in the pub, I can't see beyond having them made into a Drinks Cabinet :) . Of course, I guess that there be significant cost involved, in having them built up into a piece of bespoke furniture.

If these were yours, what would you do with them ?

Thank you for reading this.
