great furniture so far. What about an area rug. Maybe something natural like jute or with a lighter colored pattern to tie all of the furniture pieces together

Lighting, you need some layers of light. Wall sconces, cans and table lamps. Carefully consider how you blend the VERY formal chairs with the VERY NOT formal sectional. I'd use some plaid flannel throw pillows with some brown and blue to soften the chairs.

Thanks Andrew! I agree with you.. I want to change the chairs.. Just placed them temporarily.. Thinking if I should go with some grey fabric or will it make it too boring?
Also thinking of adding a big wood table instead of 2 separate coffee tables.. What do u think?

Blue is a great accent color! A really beautiful color scheme that's trending now is blue/mustard yellow/canary red (pretty much any shade of blue works with this palette). If you put in a few throw cushions, an area rug as suggested, perhaps a throw blanket and new curtains you would see a dramatic change to this room! If your curtains are long enough to 'pool' on the floor under the window it will make your room look larger and give an overall "grand" feel. I've attached a photo just to see an example of the colors - the shades are up to your own preference!

You're in a great position where you can start with a rug you love. Many times homeowners buy the furniture first and then it is torture trying to find a rug to match. You should find a rug you're in love with, the build the room around the rug. It just makes the whole design process easier.

I'll try to move around the pieces this week as you suggested.. btw, I was planning to remove 3 pictures and use different pictures and different frames.. What would look nice on the big wall? won't it look empty with nothing?

My sectional is curved. Are you suggesting taking it away from the wall? won't it put too close to TV? also, what do mean by center it? can you please elaborate? or attach example of pictures.. looks like everyone is ok with my coffee tables so far so will leave it as is for now..
