Are you selling or planning to live here? Do the bulkheads contain HVAC ducts or electrical? What is opposite the sink, a door? What is the room behind the fridge and stove? What's the budget and how big a reno are you up for?

I am planning on living here. There is nothing in the bulkheads and I have considered making the kitchen larger.. I am attaching another picture of the dining room/living room behind the fridge and stove wall. It is one big open space with tall vaulted ceiling. There is another counter and cabinet area opposite the sink. I would renovate with consideration of up to 100k on the budget.

A $100k budget would go a really long way if you are careful. I would suggest that you remove the bulkheads and take new cabinets to the ceiling. Work with a CKD to develop a plan that works for you. Use a counter depth refrigerator to give the appearance of space. Rip out the floor tile and carpet - running hardwood throughout. Consider an induction range. Remove the extra little fridge and the clutter. If you reserve $50 for the kitchen cabinets, countertops, appliances and all flooring, you can replace some of the oversized furniture. You can have a lot of fun!

An actual detailed floor plan will bring really helpful info until then all you will get is a bunch of ideas thrown around. We also need info about your style thoughts on ideal kitchen the more info the better.
