Thank you! They've been under light for just 3 days. I haven't seen much change since adding the light, but I guess maybe it hasn't been long enough. I'm using commercial potting mix. I water every day, or every other day if the soil is still wet. Is that too often? Thanks for your reply! I am a newbie. Maybe I need to add another light.

If you want good, strong parsley plants, I would start over. Once seedlings have stretched out looking for light, they can't become the strong, sturdy plants you want. Start new seed and keep the grow lights no more than two inches above the seedlings when they sprout.. Gradually lift the lights as the plants grow but keep them about 2" above the plants. That way, they will have the light they need to grow well.

I don't know since I've never used a grow light, but I'd imagine you'd need to wait a bit longer to notice a difference.

Good luck with them or the next batch. Parsley is pretty easy to grow once you get the lighting and water right.

You might also try a larger, deeper pot. Parsley grows a deep tap root and does better in a deeper pot.
I typically transplant Parsley plants into 12 inch or larger pots that are at least 12 inches deep. I generally grow 3 parsley plants in a 12 inch pot.

Cilantro also grows a tap root and needs a deep pot.
