Growing under Lights

T8 LED Bulbs

To save money and electricity, I would like to replace my fluorecent plant light bulbs with the new Tubular LED bulbs.
Has any one else tried this?
The new T8 LED bulbs fit in my light fixture but they do not work... they do not seem to be compatable.

Hi Jeffery,

There are two common types of T8 tubes. one with connection on one side and you need a special starter the other one has the connection at two sides, for this one you need to remove the starter. Maybe there are other types but I don't know, just google your type for instructions.
