Clever kitty! What about one of those sprays that repel pets?. Failing that, you could place some type of fencing up against the screen on the outside. I've seen a number of inexpensive no-dig metal sectional fence panels that are simply pushed into the ground to anchor them. This is 1 I bought from Lowes for our butterfly garden. Not sure how to handle the part on the concrete, tho - maybe planters...?

I like that idea. That takes care of the escapee. However, I live in Florida, the holes in the screen let in mosquitoes and other "uninvited guests".

Won't kitty just climb whatever you put there? I think Mr. Kitty needs to stay inside when you're not home.
