Small kitchen remodel. (open bearing wall)
Hi, need some ideas on what my options can be on current old kitchen. House is a 2/2 built in 1957. Its time to open and build... Pic below is view from front door looking into house. Note I put temporary bookcases 24" from left wall to see the view of what it might look like. See bearing wall on ceiling.

Below is our idea of adding 60" island. Stove will be on island since water is in the wall. Sorry for the rotated pic, not sure how to fix. Anyway this gives some idea where were are at and would love any of your really creative minds to comment. We are scared to get stared, cannot make up our minds....
