Lovely variety of plants!

Wow...such a pretty view. Love all the different colors/textures.

Nice! How do you control weeds?

I'm always on the lookout for 'nursery weeds'. In this area there are three that are most common. Chickweed, Stellaria media. Pepper Cress, Cardamine oligosperma, and the worst is Oxalis, aka Japanese Clover. All these plants like disturbance and go to seed very quickly, even in very cool weather. Pepper Cress, aka Shotweed is blooming now. Time to cover it with mulch or till it in.

I haven't had much luck with pre-emergents. Maybe I'm not re-applying often enough.

One of the hardest to eradicate is Prostrate spurge. Once it gets a foot hold it is nearly impossible to take out. I see it in nursery containers all the time.
