Also, Any tips on a way to hang draperies when I'm done painting would be awesome! The angled windows have me stumped as far as drapes go. I definitely want drapes on the TV wall but not sure what to do on the fireplace wall.

I would remove all from the mantle and start over with larger objects. Tall, rustic candlesticks in black - some ornamentation, rustic in black also to fill more of the area above the fireplace. I'd have it come up to just below the height of the tall windows. Roman blinds on the smaller window, in patterns and colors that coordinate with the wall color. For the kitchen you need to see what undertones Linen White has - I think it has brownish-yellow? A soft brown, perhaps lighter than what you paint the living room.

This is the scale I would look for. Note also the rustic white piece covered in bay leaves. Small books on their side are nice on a mantle.
